Green Genius differentiates by sitting four blocks north of the park, which positions us closer to the residential blocks of Gramercy and Murray Hill while still serving the Union Square daily commuter and shopper traffic.
The Greenmarket Pairing
Our Sustainably Lit positioning emerged organically from the Greenmarket-to-store walk pattern. The Greenmarket runs Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at Union Square Park.
Our store sits at the natural endpoint of the post-market walk back toward Gramercy. We see this pattern in our customer flow on Greenmarket days. The store stocks deliberately to support the kind of customer who shops the Greenmarket, NY-grown flower, low-dose edibles, microdose options, premium-tier brands.
Delivery For The 14th Street Corridor
Union Square addresses (10003, 10010, 10011) sit inside our fastest delivery zone. ETA typically 20 to 35 minutes for most addresses. The corridor traffic on weekends can stretch ETAs slightly, but the geography is forgiving. We deliver to the loft buildings off University Place, the residential blocks of 13th and 16th Streets, the New School area, and the surrounding mixed-use district.
The Late-Night Strip
14th Street runs late, the bars and restaurants in the corridor stay active well past midnight on Thursday-Saturday. Our matching midnight close on those nights serves the post-dinner and post-bar pickup window directly. The 3rd Avenue walking distance from Union Square to our store is fast even at 11 pm, the street stays well-lit through the residential corridor. Late pickup is a recurring use case for Union Square customers.
