Hepworth

Sun-grown, living-soil cannabis from a centuries-old Hudson Valley family farm.

About The Brand

The Story

Hepworth is the cannabis division of Hepworth Farms, a multi-generational, woman-owned family farm in Milton, New York that has worked the Hudson Valley for over two centuries. Sisters Amy and Gail Hepworth run it, and they grow cannabis the way they've always grown food here: outdoors under the sun, in living soil, on certified-organic farmland with no chemical fertilizers or synthetic pesticides. That regenerative, sun-grown approach gives the flower a terpene profile and a "grown in real dirt" character you don't get from sterile indoor warehouses. It's one of the original NY farms to enter the legal adult-use market, and the genetics are chosen for cultivars that actually perform in Northeast growing conditions.

Why We Carry It

Hepworth is about as close to true NY terroir as it gets — a family that's farmed this state for generations, now growing sun-grown cannabis in living soil an hour or two north of our Gramercy counter. For shoppers who want craft, regenerative, in-state flower over anonymous indoor bulk, this is the shelf we point them to. The lineup spans flower all the way through vapes and concentrates, so one brand covers a lot of ground.

What We Stock

Hepworth FAQ

Common Questions

Is Hepworth actually grown in New York?

Yes. Hepworth cultivates outdoors on its family farm in Milton, in the Hudson Valley, and it's licensed for the New York adult-use market. This is NY-grown cannabis, not out-of-state product.

What does "sun-grown, living soil" mean for the flower?

It means the plants are grown outdoors under natural sunlight in biologically active soil, rather than indoors under lights in an inert medium. Fans of Hepworth tend to like it for the terpene character and the regenerative, organic-style farming approach. Specific strains rotate by harvest, so ask us what's in stock.
